Carson Gelwick
Carson is a sophomore in the 2023-2024 school year here at C. Milton Wright. Originally from
bright and sunny Texas, Carson moved up to Bel Air Maryland just a few years ago. Carson’s
interests include world history and playing video games in his free time, but his biggest interest
is playing football. As #31 on CMW’s JV football team, Carson plans to one day go to college
for football and hopes to even play in the NFL for the Texas Cowboys. Although he has little to
no prior experience in the journalistic world, Carson plans to strengthen his communication skills
within this class and wants to get to know his school better than he did before. He loves sports,
especially football, and is excited to write about the school’s sports teams and his own
teammates. Carson would also like to help out on the paper with his constantly growing editing
skills and his dedication to making our paper better than it once was.
