Aubrye Simms, School New Editor
Aubrye Simms is a junior at C. Milton Wright. She chooses to live life with a smile on her face. Aubrye is apart of NHS and JCC as well as a few clubs. She is someone who has found an interest in her journalism class as she has a deep interest and love for writing and interviewing others. Her dream job is to be a sports media broadcaster. Going along with sports in her life, she is also part of the CMW girls soccer team, basketball team, and a sprinter on the track and field team. . She is also excited and intrigued by the photography portion of the Pony Express. A skill that she brings to this class is being able to have a conversation with someone and gain a lot of information, but also being able to find the main idea and message of that conversation and make a point to be able to write about that. She relates most to the fall season as it is a time that big changes are happening, but she also finds comfort in the season. If Aubrye wasn’t a sports broadcaster, she would be a social worker. She wants to be able to help kids that need support and to find better situations for them to strive in. One lesson that high school has taught her, is to put energy into those who care, and make sure that they are willing to put in the same amount of energy into her. It is so exciting to get to know Aubrye and everything she can bring to the Pony Express.
