As the 2023-2024 school year ends, the memories created will last forever. These moments are ones that will forever be remembered by our “Stang Gang”. The Pony Express staff reached out to various Mustangs to highlight their most favorite moments and memories, big or small, from this school year.
Sophomore Kenzie Millich: “Some of my favorite school memories from this year have to do with all the fall sports. My favorite one is when we became regional champions for soccer with my favorite group of girls. Accomplishing that with them will always be remembered. My second is the fall football games and getting to cheer on our varsity team with all my friends.”
Sophomore Jaxon Simms reminisces on his most memorable moment from this school year: “Playing Varsity Football is my favorite memory from this year, but nothing tops the hype of the game against Bel Air. Packed bleachers, a loud student section, and winning, nothing beats that.”
Sophomore Matt Sampson shares his favorite moment: “My favorite memory is homecoming. Dancing with all my friends and taking pictures beforehand with my girlfriend is always super fun, and going to Chili’s afterwards was a perfect wrap up.”
Freshman Lily Budelis highlights an unforgettable experience: “My favorite memory of the school year was being pulled up to Varsity for soccer and making it to states. I loved playing varsity soccer and the memories I made with girls on the team.”
As the book on the school year is closing, the bonds, achievements and memories are ingrained in us, forever holding a special place in our hearts.
