It is officially the New Year! It’s time for a mid-year check in on our fellow mustangs to see how we’re doing. I will interview three students here at C. Milton and check in on their grades, sports if they play any, and some activities they do outside of school.

I interviewed Sophomore, Stella Musto to see how she’s doing. Stella said that her grades are pretty good and that she has A’s and B’s. She plays on the girls’ varsity basketball team, and she said that she has a lot of fun with her teammates. Outside of school, Stella enjoys hanging out with friends.

I interviewed Senior, Annabelle Lathroum for a Senior midyear check in because the senioritis has got to be hitting this time of year. Annabelle says that she only takes three classes at C. Milton and has A’s in wellness walking and gym and currently has a B in statistics. She also takes two college classes at HCC and ended the semester with an A sociology and a B in English.

For a junior perspective I interviewed Junior Reese Rizzi to see what’s cooking. Reese has mostly A’s and B’s but sometimes has a C. She said that sports are very good, high school field hockey they went undefeated and lost in semi-finals. She also plays club field hockey, which is also going well, and they have a tournament next weekend. Finally, outside of school Reese enjoys going to Pittsburgh to hang out with friends. Let’s keep our grades up and stay healthy to kick off 2026!
