The big talk of the spring for the juniors is junior prom. A tradition that just started last year will be carried out this year as well as the JCC starts planning.  Last year’s prom had some mixed opinions with the juniors being happy with the DJ but not so happy with the location being in the cafeteria and low attendance levels. Last year’s Junior prom occurred in February which will be different than this years that will be in the spring. This year, JCC is working hard to make sure it is a hit!  

 Juniors in JCC were emailed a forms document to vote on a few different things for junior prom such as location, theme, decoration ideas, and most importantly, food! At the last meeting, the juniors pitched their ideas for the junior prom and received what the theme will be. Drum roll please… MASQUERADE BALL! Also, right now the most popular location choice is in the school gym.  

 Our JCC leaders Payten Slagle, Izzy Shaw, and Emberlyn Daniels have been working extremely hard to make this year’s junior prom a success. There have already been numerous fundraisers including Canes and Boo Grams, and there will be many more. It is super exciting to see what they come up with and how it turns out compared to last year. All I can say for now is start getting your masks ready!
