To all the people who are into anime, have you seen Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle? I personally am not into anime myself, but it was a really good movie. I’ve seen Naruto and Attack on Titan, but it was only a little bit of them. Although, I did enjoy the episodes I watched. Since this was my first time watching an anime movie, it was actually pretty good. I had gone with my boyfriend, Christian, and his sister and her friend. For someone who isn’t much into anime, it was a good introduction. My boyfriend wants me to watch the show and the first movie, so I fully understand the hype about Demon Slayer.
The character Doma was my least favorite. Mainly because his voice was whiny and irritating. Every time Doma came on, I had to put my air pods in because I genuinely couldn’t stand him. Doma honestly ruined a good chunk of the movie by making me unbelievably sad. I hope that the next movie that comes out, Doma will be killed because he is the most annoying character in the whole show. But besides Doma, the other parts of the movie were good. (Spoiler) I enjoyed the ending part with Tanjiro beheading Akaza. It was a really good part of the movie. I also enjoyed when Akaza had memories of the past because that also made it interesting; it added more layers to the plot.
I interviewed my boyfriend about Demon Slayer. He said, “The movie was good. It was a 10/10 movie I do recommend watching Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. (Spoiler) My favorite scene was when Tanjiro beheaded Akaza. My favorite character in the movie and show is Giyu. My least favorite part was the cliffhanger. I wouldn’t recommend the movie because anime isn’t for everyone but if you do enjoy anime then I would recommend watching Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. I thought the voice acting for the characters was good. I read all the books so while I watched the movie, I understood all the events that were happening. The scenes that stood out to me were when Tanjiro entered the selfless state.”
If you haven’t watched the movie yet and you’re interested in anime, I highly recommend Demon Slayer. The movie is extremely good overall and will keep your attention for the whole 2 hours and 30 minutes. It’s definitely worth the watch.
