There is no other CMW Instagram that is quite like the Math Department. Run by Mrs. Street and Mrs. Toepher, these ladies have a lot of fun! They post content like interviews, most likely to, TikTok trends, acting like students and more.  

Posted around the school are fliers to follow the Instagram. I don’t know where they get their inspiration from, so I asked Mrs. Toepher. The first question I asked het was why did you start the Instagram, and she said, “it started with wanting to send out holiday cards to the CMW staff and then someone said we should make an Instagram and then we got the idea of having the CMW Math Department Instagram.” 

The second question I asked her was “where do you get inspiration from?” As I thought, Mrs. Toepher and Ms. Streett get a lot of their inspiration from TikTok. They also send TikTok’s to each other for inspiration. Even Mr. Siemson sends them ideas for Instagram.  

The final question I asked was why did you start the account? Mrs. Toepher said, “To have fun, connect with students, and math is a very hated subject, so we wanted to create a way for math to gain more love.”  

All in all, the CMW Math Department Instagram is a fun page for the students and teachers at C. Milton Wright High School. Follow them @cmwmathdept on Instagram!
