While C.Milton Wright athletics begins the transition into the spring sports season, teams and their players have set a high bar for the following months. 17-year-old Dylan Sander being one of them. Sander is one of the starting defenders for the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse team here at C. Milton. His 10 years of experience has made him an essential addition to the team, with their current record of 3-2. The team’s close bond on and off the field makes for an obvious chemistry and flow in their play. “They’re all my guys and I love em,” says Sander, “I would go to war with them.” The Mustangs have been able to come out with wins against teams like South Carrol, Havre De Grace, and Harford Tech, with scores as substantial as their 17-2 win over Tech, but last Friday they came just short of a win against the Fallston Cougars. The team was able to put in 6 goals and Fallston 8. Dylan finished with many defensive and offensive contributions, but the Mustangs unfortunately failed to come out the other end with a win. Sander, along with his teammates, has a positive outlook on their 2024 season and has chosen to move on from their early season losses with their heads held high.
