New Life Sailing Into the Inner Harbor

Changes Coming to Baltimore

The Baltimore Inner Harbor is a well-known place that attracts those who are visiting Baltimore. The Inner Harbor is filled with many different attractions that you can visit and get involved in.

The National Aquarium is home to many different types of animals that you can see. Along the edge of the Inner Harbor, you can see historic ships from Baltimore. The Maryland Science Center is a great place to go if you are interested in science and getting some hands-on science experience. Port Discovery’s Children Museum is a great place for families to go and gives a great opportunity for kids to play and express themselves.

There are so many different places to view the Inner Harbor and places to get some quick food, along with many sit-down restaurants to enjoy. Although the harbor is home to many fun activities, it has unfortunately begun to decline in attendance.

In response to this happening, new design plans have been released and are to be taking action to show a new redesign Inner Harbor, with new attractions and a revamped model in hope to attract more to visit.

The updated design of the Inner Harbor includes new promenades, new residential tower, and a brand new open space for visitors.

This is called “The Sail” and it will feature a marketplace, restaurant, commercials options, and venues.

This new building will be home to restaurants on the second floor, with family housing on the upper levels. This will overlook most of the Harbor.

A waterfront park will also be featured in the new redesign.

This is another view of the building that will hold housing and restaurants and how it will overlook the water.

Brand new floating wetlands can be seen from the pier of the lower promenade, and the upper promenade will be a place where you can find some shade.

Dining and recreation can be found at “The Park” at Freedom’s Point.

These buildings will have many retail stores, located right next to the new Amphitheater.

This new Amphitheatre can seat 2,000 people, with a second level for retail and restaurants.
