Maria Kizenko is a proud returning senior in Creative Writing. Maria is really involved in school activities. She is the president of Educator’s Rising and a secretary of the Spanish National Honor Society. She is also an active member of the Best Buddies and Book Club. Maria loves working with young children and wants to major in Elementary Education in college. She likes to read books by Nicholas Sparks, specifically the “The Notebook”, which inspires poems and creative stories she likes to write. Maria enjoys listening to pop music and is especially enthusiastic about Taylor Swift. A fun fact about her is that before moving to Bel Air, Maria lived in Russia for 8 years.
