The Drama is a very interesting look into the way people view what is too far for redemption.  I don’t want to spoil much else beyond that, but I just found it so interesting and would fully recommend it. 

The Drama stars Robert Pattinson (Charlie) and Zendaya (Emma). The story starts with them meeting and falling in love. They decide to get married and start all the planning that goes into a wedding. This is when things start to take a turn, during a food tasting for their wedding. Charlie and Emma are accompanied by two of their best friends when they start discussing their worst secrets.  This is where I will stop so as not to ruin the surprises.  

The remainder of the film focuses on the aftermath and reactions from the circle of friends to the secrets they have learned.   

I always found It interesting how people react when they find out something new about someone they love. The Drama fully reveals this in an awkward and realistic way. The acting in this movie is very good. I thoroughly enjoyed Zendaya’s performance. She really blew me away.  There are some awkward moments and a few scenes that will make you chuckle.   

I saw this film with my aunt, Teri, and I asked her what her opinion of the film was.  She said, “I really liked it. I was glad that I went into it, really not having known much about it.  It made the plot twist that much more exciting.”  She also said, “It was a good movie to really dissect afterwards. It really made you wonder how you may react after learning a secret about someone. Could you move on and still feel the same about someone if the secret is something that you disagree with?”  My aunt gave The Drama a 4.5 out of 5.  

I would recommend going to see The Drama. If you can, go see it before it is out of theaters. I think a big part of the enjoyment I got from this movie is hearing other people’s reactions in a crowded room. I believe I would agree with my aunt and also give it 4.5 out of 5.  Go with someone you know well.  This movie will make for a lively conversation on the drive home and maybe you will find out you don’t know anyone as well as you think.
