What happens when the phone rings and the nightmare starts again? 

Shifting focus away from the “Core Four” of the previous two films, Scream 7 returns to the franchise’s emotional roots. The story follows Sidney Prescott, who has built a quiet new life away from the shadow of Woodsboro. However, her peace is shattered when a new Ghostface killer emerges with a specific, personal grudge. 

Scream 7 brings back the classic Ghostface mystery with tense phone calls, chase scenes, and twists that keeps viewers guessing who the killer is. The movie mixes scary moments with suspense, making it exciting as the characters try to figure out who they can trust.  

This time, the stakes are more intimate than ever as the killer targets Sidney’s teenage daughter, Tatum Evans. Sidney is forced out of hiding and must team up with long-time ally Gale Weathers to protect her family and confront a conspiracy that links this new spree to secrets from Ghostface’s bloody legacy. 

I asked my sister baily what she thought about the movie. “ it was really good and intense” she said. “ but I didn’t like who the killers were, I wish it was someone different, and I wish it was Stu.” She also shared with me that she didn’t like how they tricked the audience with AI.  

Overall scream 7 is a thrilling horror movie with plenty if mystery and surprises that keep the fans hooked until the end.
