They wanted to get away from it all. Now all they want is to survive. “Send Help” is a fresh take on the survival and teamwork genre. The film is two individuals who survive a plane crash and end up stranded on a deserted island. Initially, they don’t hit it off, but as the days roll on, they realize they must join forces to stay alive.  

The movie blends comedy, thriller, and a touch of horror. There are definitely some laugh-out-loud moments, but you’ll also find some intense scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat, making the story both exciting and very engaging.  

As the characters navigate their survival, they encounter all kinds of challenges. From hunting for food to building a shelter and figuring out a way off the island, each obstacle puts their strength, patience, and trust to the ultimate test.   

One of the big themes in “Send Help” is all about teamwork. Even though the main characters clash initially, they discover that teamwork is essential for survival, and their relationship grows deeper as they spend more time together. 

I interviewed my friend Jordyn who goes to Mercy High School because she watched this movie. I asked her if she thought the movie was scary and she said, “I think the movie was scary and very thrilling.” She said, “This movie had a very good plot and an insane plot twist.” I asked her if she would watch it again and she said “No, I wouldn’t just because I know what happens after the plot twist.”  

 In a nutshell, “Send Help” is a fun survival flick packed with humor and suspense. It captures how people evolve and bond during tough times while keeping the audience hooked with its important message about working together.
