Have you ever had a big adrenaline rush before a very important game? Well, our C. Milton Wright Boys Varsity soccer team definitely did. The boys played Fallston High School in the state semifinals on November 7th, 2025. The student section was loud and electric. The boys wanted it so badly, but so did our whole C. Milton Wright community.
I spoke to one of our varsity players, Benedykt Mroz is a junior who has been playing soccer for 10 years and has goals to play soccer in college. Ben’s favorite pregame snack is a Redbull. Ben says, “after the result of this year I am proud of all the boys and coach’s for pushing through this season even through these hard times.” The boys were tied 2-2 at the end or normal time and then lost in penalties 5-4. Ben says, “better execution in the box and locking down Fallston’s striker could’ve helped change the game.” Benedykt Mroz and Owen Davis scored the goals in normal time for our boys’ team. Ben says, “the best memory this year was being able to represent Blake and Zach throughout the season and play for them.”
It was truly beautiful to watch these boys play their hearts out this season. Our community is so incredibly proud of all of them. Now, they are ready to come back next year for their revenge!
