This film tells the story of a mother named Morgan who is in her early 30’s with a teenage daughter named Clara and her husband Chris who has been married for years. However, the plot takes a major turn when a tragic car accident happens to Chris and Morgans sister. Unfortunately, they both don’t make it through the crash, and this leaves Morgan and Clara shattered. After Chris’s and her sister’s death, Morgan distances herself from everyone. She doesn’t know how to handle her emotions with everyone around her.
Clara is also deeply affected by this tragic accident, knowing how close she was with her aunt and her dad. Clara becomes angry and confused by her mother’s behavior. So, she starts lashing out easily on people and becomes closer to a boy at her school named Miller who helped her with her emotions. Morgan unfolds some crazy truths about Chris and her sister that’s very uncomfortable. She figures out about their secret affair they have been hiding from Morgan for a while. This news is devastating for her since she is not only dealing with the pain of losing her husband and sister but also being betrayed by the two people, she trusted the most. Morgan decides it was best to tell Clara about her father and begins to see him differently. But over time, Morgan and Clara finally face the fact that they have to maybe move on with her life and need to let go.
People should want to watch this new movie film because it’s a mix of interesting family secrets, how they all handle their grief, and romantic love with some surprising twists among the film. But some people’s opinions on this movie are mixed between weak adaptations with poor acting, cringeworthy and confusing plots.
