The game is a meaningful and exciting event that brings the community together to support a good cause.

Mackenzi Milich, a junior competing in Battle of the Grades, shares, “It’s exciting when the crowd is cheering and it’s fun to get to play a fun game with your friends. I don’t think it will be an easy win because both teams are going to be competitive, but we got it in the bag.” And she was right! The juniors were losing by two, but at the end of the game they won from a three-point shot, leaving the final score 19-17. Lanie Gunter, the coach of the sophomores says, “I don’t think it will be a difficult game as long as we keep our eyes on the prize.” The sophomores won the game with a 15-point lead, ending the game 20-5. All in all, Battle of Grades was a success this year, bringing the community together in support of a great cause. Make sure to sign up next year!
