The week before Christmas, everyone is trying to find stuff to do to get in that Christmas spirit, so I set out to find places in Bel Air to explore.

The first place I went to was Main Street, which I was shocked to find was empty. I think they really shot themselves in the foot by not having the Winter Wonderland, an event where they shut down the street, for one more week. I think people want to have somewhere nice to go before Christmas, and I think if Winter Wonderland was open the weekend before Christmas every business there would make a lot of money, but some of the lights were still up and that was pretty.

I also went to Christopher’s train park at Bloom’s Broom earlier in the week, which was quite nice. The train designs were very interesting, and I enjoyed how warm it was because the walk to the train park was very cold. The only downside was the fact that drinks were not allowed in the train park, so I had to leave my hot chocolate in the car and by the time I got back to my car to drink it was cold.
There needs to be more things to do during the week before Christmas. I think it would be great for the economy, and I think people are looking for any excuse to leave their house and why not have it be doing something fun and festive.
