Universal Studios has once again opened its gates to terror, launching its highly anticipated Halloween Horror Nights 2025 event on both coasts. This year’s lineup, which began haunting Universal Orlando Resort on select nights starting August 29th and Universal Studios Hollywood on September 4th, is being spoken of as a new era for the event, blending iconic haunts with twisted, imaginative houses and scares.
The 2025 event features a roster of chilling haunted houses and frightening scare zones, confirming Universal’s title as the “World’s Premier Halloween Event.”
Universal Orlando Resort is featuring 10 haunted houses, a mix of major franchises and sinister concepts. Five Nights at Freddy’s is a highly demanded house that finally brings the popular horror video game to life. Guests are put into the night watch at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, where the deadly animatronics—Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy—are hunting. Terrifier/Art the Clown is a modern horror icon known for extreme gore and is making his highly anticipated HHN debut. Guests must navigate a gross house that captures the villain’s sadistic and shocking handiwork. Fallout is inspired by the hit Amazon series and long-running video game. This house puts guests into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Los Angeles, forcing an escape from the vaults and a confrontation with the bounty hunter, The Ghoul. Jason Universe is based on the iconic slasher, Jason Voorhees, returning to HHN to terrorize guests. The house steps into his world, from the sinister shack in the woods to the legendary Camp Crystal Lake. The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks (WWE) is a unique collaboration with WWE and pays tribute to the legacy of Bray Wyatt. Guests dare to enter the eerie arena and venture into the minds of The Wyatt Sicks. Grave of Flesh is an original concept where guests are already dead, entering the grave before being pulled into the underworld and hunted for all eternity by flesh-eaters.
The Hollywood lineup also includes the houses: Five Nights at Freddy’s, Terrifier, Fallout, Jason Universe, and The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks.
The event, which also includes multiple scare zones, select park attractions, and themed food and beverage, runs on select nights through November 2nd, 2025. Horror fans are advised to secure their tickets early, as this year’s combination of terrifying and original horror is expected to draw massive crowds!
