If you’ve listened to the song War Pigs by Black Sabbath or Mama, I’m Coming Home by
Ozzy Osbourne, you would know that the legend “Prince of Darkness” has passed away.
He was loved by many all across the world. He passed away at the age of 76 on July 22nd,

Ozzy Osbourne, you would know that the legend “Prince of Darkness” has passed away.
He was loved by many all across the world. He passed away at the age of 76 on July 22nd,
2025.
There are many questions on how he died exactly. It could’ve been because of “Out of
hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, or coronary artery disease and
Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes).” There are so many
causes, but researchers and doctors don’t know exactly what happened. But we do know
he did suffer from coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. So, that most likely
was the cause of his death.
I interviewed a teacher at our school. about how he felt about Ozzy himself and his
passing. Mr. Fream replied saying “I felt sad when I heard about it, but honestly it is a
miracle he made it as long as he did in my opinion. He lived the true rock and roll lifestyle. I
was initially surprised but again, it wasn’t exactly sudden or out of nowhere. I felt sad that
such a music icon passed away, but I felt happy when I saw that people of all generations
were paying tribute, which is a testament to how influential him and Black Sabbath really
were. I didn’t have too many feelings for Ozzy. I think he was extremely instrumental in
creating the heavy metal genre of music, but I wouldn’t say he was an artist that I
constantly listened to. I enjoy some of his solo music / Black Sabbath, but I wouldn’t call
myself a super fan.”
His death was extremely unexpected, and it had crushed majority of the world’s hearts.
When he passed away, he was surrounded by his family and loved ones. His daughter,
Kelly Osbourne, expressed her feelings and said that the loss was the hardest moment of
her life. His son, Jack Osbourne, had shared pictures of them and their private family
moments. His wife, Sharon Osbourne, posted on Instagram thanking fans for their
“overwhelming love and support”. Ozzy’s funeral was held in Birmingham, England, which
was his hometown. A private service was held on July 30th, 2025. He was buried on his 250-
acre property in Buckinghamshire.
I do know that there will be a documentary of some sort coming out with Adam Sandler
starring as Ozzy Osbourne. The movie/documentary is titled Ozzy: No Escape from Now.
It’s set to premiere on Paramount+ on October 7, 2025. The movie/documentary talks
about Ozzy’s final years, focusing on his health issues after a 2019 fall and his Parkinson’s
diagnosis. It ends up having interviews with his family and other musicians. The musicians
that will be included in this movie/documentary are Tony Iommi and Slash. It’ll include
showing behind-the-scenes footage from the productions of his final albums including his
2022 homecoming performance in Birmingham.
