Myles Garret is one of the best defensive linemen in NFL history. In recent weeks, he has demanded a trade from his current team. Myles Garret asked for a trade stating he wanted to win a Superbowl, and he doesn’t seem to think the Browns can win in his possibly short time left in the NFL. Currently, Myles Garret has four all pro selections and two Defensive Player of the Year awards.
He is one of the best players to ever play on the defensive side of the ball and has been a huge part of the Browns since he was drafted. The Browns have been very well known for not being a great team, never making a Superbowl since being founded in 1944. Garret was a first-round pick, number one overall, in the 2017 draft. Drafted out of Texas A&M he was projected to be a star, and a star he has been. In his career so far, he has 102.5 sacks, 20 forced fumbles and 250 solo tackles. It’s been a great career for him so far and he has the chance to go to a Superbowl team and win his first ring.
Demanding a trade is not unusual, especially for some top players on bad teams. Most players want to win a ring, and Garret is not any different. He wants to win a ring and solidify himself as a Hall of Famer.
