Drew Stegemeyer is a junior at C Milton Wright high school and writes for the
Current Events section and the Opinions and Editorial section for our
newspaper. In his early years, Drew developed an interest in journalism at an HCC summer camp, where one of the activities had the attendees interview different students and teachers
and ask them about their hobbies and interests. Along with a liking for journalism, Drew also enjoys a good bit of cinema. Some of his favorite films include; Twin peaks: fire walk with me, Uncut
gems, good time and the Batman with Robert Pattison. Along with cinema
Drew also like a vast array of music with genres including hip- hop and
alternative R&B. Some of his favorite artists are: JPEGMAFIA, Frank
Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Run the Jewels, SZA, Daft Punk and
Justice. When he graduates college, Drew wants to pursue cinematography, he also wants to travel to New Zealand and Australia and all the other Oceanic countries. Overall Drew's diverse interest in multiple topics and knowledge of modern events makes him a great addition to the writing team at C Milton Wright.
