Disney is bringing back the beloved animated classic Lilo & Stitch in a live-action remake set to premiere on May 23, 2025. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, this new version stays true to the original story while introducing fresh elements and a talented cast.

Six-year-old Maia Kealoha makes her acting debut as Lilo, a spirited and imaginative Hawaiian girl who befriends Stitch. Kealoha, a native of Kaua’i, Hawaii, won the 2023 Little Miss Kona Coffee pageant and has been in the public eye in her home state.
Chris Sanders as Stitch
Chris Sanders, who co-wrote and co-directed the original animated film, returns to voice Stitch, the mischievous alien experiment.
Sydney Agudong as Nani Pelekai
Sydney Agudong portrays Nani, Lilo’s older sister and guardian. Born and raised in Kaua’i, Agudong is partly of Hawaiian descent.
Kaipo Dudoit as David Kawena
Kaipo Dudoit plays David, Nani’s love interest and a surfer who cares for Lilo. Dudoit currently stars in the indie film My Partner, which follows a romance between two high schoolers from different walks of life.
Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles
Courtney B. Vance takes on the role of Cobra Bubbles, a former CIA agent turned social worker who monitors Lilo’s well-being. Vance is a two-time Emmy-winning actor known for his portrayal of attorney Johnnie Cochran in American Crime Story.
Billy Magnussen as Agent Pleakley
Billy Magnussen portrays Agent Pleakley, a Plorgonarian agent assigned to Earth. Magnussen has appeared in films such as Game Night and No Time to Die.
Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba Jookiba
Zach Galifianakis plays Dr. Jumba Jookiba, the alien scientist who creates Stitch. Galifianakis is known for his roles in The Hangover series and Between Two Ferns.
Hannah Waddingham as Grand Councilwoman
Hannah Waddingham portrays the Grand Councilwoman, the leader of the United Galactic Federation. Waddingham is best known for her role as Rebecca Welton in the hit series Ted Lasso.
Amy Hill as Tūtū
Amy Hill plays Tūtū, Lilo and Nani’s neighbor. Hill voiced Mrs. Hasagawa in the original film and returns in a new role
