This past weekend, the National Honors Society hosted the CMW Variety Show! This hour and a half was pure entertainment. The crowd didn’t disappoint with their reactions to the many talented individuals and groups. The show was emceed by Kendal Faber, Sebastian Baur, Britton Casconi and Madelyn Nitsch.  

The show was filled with funny skits, singers, musicians, comedians, and dancers. The emcees did a terrific job with the skits, using relatable jokes like mixing up clipboards, the 4th floor pool, and calling teachers by their first name. Cameos from your favorite teachers were also included.  

The highlight of the show in my opinion was the group known as “The Sticky Seven”. This dance group consisted of Ashley Heinbaugh, Alex Curry, Kenzie Pavlitsa, Sonya Vera, Maddie Duffalo, Carley Jenhert, and Kandin Ilagan. They combined their talent and humor to make an entertaining dance with a mashup of popular songs such as Sticky by Tyler the Creator and Fein by Travis Scott.  

Overall, this show was not one to miss. Make sure to catch the Variety Show next year if you missed it. Support the talent at CMW!
