Tate McRae; the newest pop girl.  Twenty-one-year-old Tate McRae is a triple threat singer, songwriter, dancer and overall, a unique rising star.  Tate was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on July 1st, 2003.  Her fame started with dance. At 13, she starred in the dancing competition “So You Think You Can Dance”, placing third place. She has performed in Justin Bieber’s concert and appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Tate has a thing for the stage and stardom.   

Tate then started her transition that would make her even more popular than before. In 2017, McRae began to post singing videos on her YouTube. Most popular was her song “One Day”. These videos boomed with views and the teenager got signed with RCA Records. However, Tate hasn’t forgotten her dance roots. Tate shows off her dancing skills through her music videos and on stage. Some of her dances have gotten big on Tik Tok, especially her recent release “2 hands”.
