We are one month into the Trump administration, and already there are a lot of things that are drawing criticism. One thing that drew quite a lot of critics was his pardoning of the January 6th insurrectionists. Since then, there has been such a high number of rearrests it has begun to feel bizarre. The arrests include the following.
- Matthew Huttle was shot and killed a few days after being pardoned during a police altercation that started over him having a firearm in his car.

To me, this speaks volumes about the quality of the character of the people who attended that insurrection. For years, during the Biden administration, people tirelessly argued the validity of the imprisonment of these insurrectionists, and with these rearrests, the belief that the J6ers deserved to be in jail has been solidified.
