It’s official, we have now reached the mid-way point of the school year. Seniors are committing to colleges, juniors are getting ready for SATs, and underclassman are continuing to work for those grades. C Milton Wright has taken on Friday night lights, homecoming, and winter break. The end of first semester has consisted of many snow days and I think we can all agree, way too many B days. Are you ready to take on the second half of the year? Let’s see what the mustangs have to say about the past semester and what they are looking forward to.
Ashley Heinbaugh ‘25:
“This past semester it has been bittersweet to experience all the “lasts” like the first day of school and homecoming. However, applying and hearing back from colleges has been stressful. I am looking forward to prom and senior week with my friends.”
Sophia Hodges ‘26:
“I have loved the first part of junior year because I like fall activities like homecoming. I also loved getting to go to states for soccer. I am looking forward to junior prom and warm weather.”
Cameryn Loper ‘26:
“I enjoyed the first half of the year because of cross country and liking my classes. I am looking forward to track season and summer.”
Shane Beegle ‘26:
“For the first semester I have enjoyed homecoming and fall weather. I am looking forward to lacrosse season.”
Lanie Gunter ‘27:
“I have really enjoyed going to homecoming and states for soccer. I also have been enjoying playing varsity basketball. I am looking forward to lacrosse and finishing the year off strong.”
Justin Bricker ‘28:
“For the first half of the year I have liked experiencing high school for the first time. I have also enjoyed being on track and cross country because I got to go to states. I am looking forward to summer now.”
