Chick-fil-A vs. Popeyes, everyone has heard of the debate, but which is better? That’s what Drew and Jon wanted to figure out; that is why we had to get both and compare.
A medium Number 1 meal from Popeyes was $10.06, while Chick-fil-A was $10.17, making them about even. As we all know, the Chick-fil A fries are in a waffle shape, making them larger, but it does still seem like there are more fries in the bag, and they were a little heavier. Popeyes fries have more color and seasoning. One noticeable difference that you will not expect is the drink cup size. Chick-fil-A’s medium cup is 16 oz, while Popeyes is 30 oz for a medium, which has its difficulties. On one hand, you get double the soda for less money, but 20 oz is the size of a normal soda bottle, so you are getting an unhealthy amount, but you could choose not to fill it up completely. Onto the chicken sandwich. Chick-fil-A’s sandwich came with 2 small pickles, a chicken patty, and bread. Jon and Drew both thought the sandwich was good, but bland, nothing special. The Popeyes sandwich had 3 big pickles that covered the entire sandwich, mayo, and a crispy chicken patty. Next, the menu, Popeyes, has a diverse selection of food, like red rice and beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and even six diverse kinds of wings. Chick-fil-A did have better customer service, with the workers being more polite, but the food took longer in Chick-fil-A.
Chick-fil-A is, in our solid opinion the less secure option. It is always packed more expensively and blander; the food is smaller; and the ambiance is worse. Drew and Jon firmly and truly recommend Popeyes, and we hope you do too.
