Playoffs are now in full swing. As the girls’ basketball team has wrapped up their season following a tough loss against Fallston, the boys’ basketball team is gearing up for the regional championship game against Elkton.
The girls’ basketball team won their first round of playoffs against North East High School with a score of 43-28. Unfortunately, they suffered a season ending loss in the regional semi-finals against Fallston on March 1. Earlier in the season, the girls lost in a close game against Fallston and were prepared to have a tough match up, but they were not able to secure the win as they had hoped.
On the other hand, the boys’ basketball team is still going strong in the playoffs. With an impressive regular season record, they have clinched the spot as the No, 1 seed, making them a team to look out for in the playoffs. Following their first-round bye, they played Harford Tech for the regional semi-finals on February 29, winning with a score of 72-40.
On Tuesday, March 5, they will face No.2 Elkton and compete for the regional championship title. During the Mustangs in season game against the Elks, C. Milton came out on top, winning by just one point. The 67-66 game was filled with intensity and fierce competition, which we hope to see Tuesday evening.
