The Wrighting Center (CMWC) is an organization that’s purpose is to help C Milton Wright students to become better writers. They can help with any writing! Doesn’t matter if it’s an English essay, chemistry lab report, or simply just an application. The CMWC is a great way to get one-on-one feedback and improve your writing. Visit today in room 211 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings – no appointment necessary. Or set up an appointment through the canvas shortcut that should be available to you through all of our courses. Looking forward to working with you! -The Wrighting Center

Writing tips to start the New Year right:
- Reading your piece out loud can help you identify mistakes and make it flow better.
- Use powerful and meaningful words in your sentences to increase the complexity.
- Try making an outline of your writing and plan what you want to say before you start.
- Know who your audience is and adjust your writing based on that.
- Show the scene, don’t just tell it. Use lots of descriptive words.
