Spring Activities Are Back in Bel Air

Some big events are coming to the area this Spring including concerts, festivals, races, Easter egg hunts, and Mother’s Day gatherings. There is something for everyone and plenty for kids and teens to do with their family and friends.

This April, there are many activities to do with others. On April 9th at Rockfield Park, there is the Bel Air Kite Festival. This is good for kids all ages and free kites will be available for as long as supplies last. Also on the 9th, the Bel Air Farmers Market opens on Bond Street in downtown Bel Air. It will be open every Saturday from 8am to 12 pm until November 19th. Later on, the 12th, there is a Mom and Me Easter Paint Night from 6pm to 8pm at Vagabond Sandwich company, Finally, on April 26th there is a Mama Mia movie night dance and theatre show at The State Theatre in Havre De Grace.

Then in May, from the 13th to the 15th, Harford Dance Theatre Company will be performing the Wizard of Oz at Harford Community College. Tickets for adults are eighteen dollars and fourteen dollars for those seventeen and under. Then on May 22nd, there will be a Spring Craft Fair with vendors and food at Deer Creek Overlook in Street Maryland.

Finally, on June 5th, there is Bel Air Town Run, one of the most popular 5k races in the area. There is also a one-mile fun run/walk for those who just want to get out for fun. The starting line is 20 South Main Street in Bel Air. Also on the 5th is the Summer Concert Series at the Humbert Amphitheater in Bel Air’s Shamrock Park. Admission is free and many local artists will be coming to perform.

The Bel Air area has lots of activities for all ages and all interests. These activities are a great way to get out with friends and family and support the local community.
