Blossom Cookies

Gather ingredients

½ cup sugar

½ cup firmly packed sugar

½ cup softened butter

½ cup peanut butter

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

¼ cup sugar

48 pieces of Hershey kisses

How to make

Combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, and peanut butter in a bowl. Mix at medium speed until fluffy, add egg and vanilla and salt and mix. Add flour and baking soda, mix at low speed until mixed well. Cover with plastic food wrap refrigerated for 30 minutes.

Heat oven to 375 degrees F

Shape dough into 1 ¼ inch balls, roll balls in ¼ cup sugar, place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookies sheets.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until very lightly golden brown, immediately press 1 Hershey kiss into the center of the cookie. Remove to cooling rack.


These cookies were simple to make and very delicious, I’m the type of person that need my parents help while cooking anything and I think making these cookies was the first time that I didn’t need help.
