2 bunches of Swiss chard
2 onions, 8 pastry sheets
½ ib. Pastrami
2 tbsp. Yogurt
2/3 cup canola oil
How to make Borek
Chop 2 onions and sauté in canola oil.
Clean and chop the Swiss chard and then add to the onions.
Once the Swiss chard has cooked down remove it from the heat.
In a separate bowl prepare the sauce. Crack 3 eggs and then add 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of water, and 2/3 of a cup of canola oil.
Whisk the sauce ingredients well.
Line the baking pan with the pastry sheets and add some of the sauce over the sheets. Then add the Swiss chard and onion mixture and spread over the pastry sheets.
Add the sliced pastrami and then add the remaining pastry sheets on the top of the mixture.
Pour the remaining sauce on the pastry sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
