The Field Hockey Pink Game ended with a bang. Playing Maryvale on October 2, the girls ended the game with a 2-1 win. The pink game, also known as “Corners for a Cure”, is featured one home game every year. The goal is to raise money for breast cancer research, and due to a team mother having this cancer, they thought to dedicate a game to this disease. All the girls wear pink, Mustangs and the competitors, and parents and friends come and donate money to every corner, or give an overall donation for the game.

Playing Maryvale gave the girls some competition, but all ended well. With Gaby Khor and Abby Hennessey defending, and Finley Moreland in goal, they wouldn’t get any more but one goal in.
