Total Time- 5 hours and 5 minutes

Makes 10-12 servings

How to make it

  • Wax paper
  • ¾ cups pf granulated sugar
  • ¾ cups of firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • Breakfast bread dough
  • ¾ cups of melted butter
  • 1 cup of chopped toasted pecans
  • Caramel glaze

Step 1- generously grease a 10-inch tube pan. Line the bottom of the pan with wax paper and grease the wax paper.

Step 2- Pour the granulated sugar, brown sugar and ground cinnamon into a small bowl. Knead the breakfast dough on to a floured surface and roll into a ball. Then, put the dough balls into the melted butter and roll in your sugar mixture.

Step 3- Place a single layer of the dough balls into the pan then sprinkle 1/3 cup of the pecans over the layer. Repeat this process 3 times ending up with 3 layers.

Step 4- Cover dough and let it sit for 1 hour.

Step 5- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Uncover your dough and let it bake for 40-45 minutes. When that time is over, stick a wooden pick to see if it is fully baked. Let it sit for 20 minutes on a cooling rack and throw away your wax paper. After it is done cooling, put it on a serving platter and drizzle with your caramel glaze.
