This season, girls field hockey has held a 12-1 record. With key returning starters and many new players who have been contributing a lot, the team could see State Championships in their future. Captains, Olivia Hennessey, Sam Aljets, and Georgia Beachley say, “our team has been working together all season and it is probably because we are all so close as friends.” The team has beat Bel Air, North Harford, and Patterson Mill which are big accomplishments considering they are all super competitive girls. One of the biggest games yet was the game against NDP. NDP has not had more than one goal scored on them in 4 years. The mustangs gave them a huge fight by scoring 4 goals and having the lead at one point. As the girls head into playoffs and continue to accomplish many things, they are really hoping to go far and continue the season ending with a State Championship this Saturday at Washington College.
