With the newly instituted HCC-Towson partnership, soon to graduate high school seniors are now able to go to HCC and then transfer all of their credits over to Towson after spending two years at HCC.
As advertised on Harford Community College’s website, “HCC’s 2+2 articulation agreement with Towson, along with the state-of-the-art TUNE building on the campus enable students to earn both their associate degree and their bachelor’s degree without leaving Harford County.
Students interested in one of the compatible programs listed below meet with an adviser to coordinate their academic plan and to make sure all of the required courses are met.
Once they earn their associate degree at Harford, they walk across the road and start their bachelor’s program in TUNE. HCC even has created a building nearby that allows students to attend Towson classes without having to commute back and forth everyday. Such classes include Business Administration (Management)
Family and Human Services – Services to Children and Youth
Information Technology
Integrated Early Childhood Education/Special Education
Integrated Elementary Education/Special Education
Nursing
Psychology
Sociology (Criminal Justice).
Using HCC seamless transfer of credits, students can now continue their education in a more in-depth college while also being able to attend community college.
