After a long, cold winter, it is finally spring! And with spring comes Easter. What immediately comes to peoples minds when they hear the word Easter is chocolate.

If you were to look up Easter desserts you would be given hundreds of results , but these Easter Hugs Pretzel Snaps are an easy and delicious recipe that anyone who loves chocolate will love.

This recipe only requires 3 simple ingredients:

1) Hershey Hugs candies

2) Small pretzel twists

3) Pastel M&Ms or small colored chocolate eggs (or both)

These ingredients can be found at any local grocery store . The directions to make this recipe are also very simple:

1) Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. Have the M&Ms and chocolate eggs ready in a bowl, set aside.

2) Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

3) Lay out as many pretzels as you plan on making.

4) Unwrap Hugs and place in the middle of each pretzel.

5) Place in oven for about 3 to 4 minutes.

6) Take out and quickly place one candy on each Hug.

7) Place in fridge for about 10 minutes to set up

After making this recipe, I can inform you that this is a very simple recipe to make. The only problem that I had was that after putting it into the oven and putting the M&Ms on top of the chocolate, the chocolate was dripping a lot more than I would have liked it to.

All in all I highly recommend this recipe to anyone who loves a good mix of salty and sweet.
